Lydia (Aletha) hails from Manchester and began her DJ career as a regular contributor to radio. Aletha’s sound now spans genres, rhythms, and soundscapes, guiding listeners on an atmospheric journey that feels fresh and captivating every time she plays. Her sets often pulse with percussive beats, weaving together house, techno, and electro with subtle touches of acid. At moments, she delves into the deeper, psychedelic corners of her collection.
Following a packed 2024 that included another sell-out edition of her own brand ‘CITRIC,’ Aletha has carried the momentum into 2025, gracing the decks at some of the most exciting underground clubs, spaces, and festivals. Highlights so far include a special b2b with NIKS at Glastonbury, three slots across the week at Dimensions Festival, an Asia mini-tour, and standout appearances at venues such as RSO Berlin and The Warehouse Project Manchester.
Aletha’s eclectic and intriguing acid-led track selections and mixes have led to regular residencies for some of the best stations in the UK including Rinse FM and Worldwide FM. As well as feature mixes for electronic publications Mixmag, Ransome Note and DJ Mag. A selector at heart, Aletha draws from a rich tapestry of knowledge built over years of devotion to the dancefloor and her roles as DJ, radio host, and promoter.
