Dave Harvey is a seasoned DJ and promoter based in Bristol, known for his eclectic sets and deep-rooted connections within the music scene. As the founder of Team Love, a Bristol-based event collective, Dave has been instrumental in shaping some of the UK’s most loved festivals and events, including Love International, Love Saves The Day, Forwards, Waterworks and more besides alongside helming the team at the now legendary Silver Hayes area at Glastonbury.
With a DJ career spanning decades, Dave has played at a wide range of clubs across the UK and Europe, many of the ones you've heard of and a fair few you might not have, moving through genres from house and disco to techno and breakbeat to electro. His versatility behind the decks has seen him warm up, play B2B, and share stages with people from all over, including Moodyman, Midland, Palms Trax, Gilles Peterson, and Hunee alongside his regular stable-mates Felix Dickinson, Craig Richards, Ivan Smagghe, Chez De Milo and Ellie Stokes. All this along with an ever-growing list of underground artists, which reflects his broad musical influences and commitment to diverse sounds.
Dave has built a solid reputation with regular gigs at respected venues and festivals both in the UK and internationally. His sets have taken him to London’s fabric, The White Hotel in Manchester, and Good Room in New York, reflecting his ability to adapt to different crowds and spaces. He is also a regular at Croatia’s Barbarella’s, known for its open-air, all-night sessions. A fixture at festivals like Glastonbury and Houghton, Dave has been praised for his eclectic mixes of house, techno and leftfield sounds.
In addition to live gigs, Dave hosts a regular show on Bristol’s SWU.FM, sharing his wide-ranging taste and deep knowledge of music. His experience in both DJing and festival programming has helped him carve out a unique space in the music scene, connecting audiences to a broad spectrum of sounds and experiences.
