A longtime resident of Macao - Milan’s squatted arts centre and an epicentre of the city’s counterculture - Inner Lakes has developed a taste for the unpredictable. With techno as the rhythmic thread, his mixes spiral between euphoria and introspection, moving from intimate, hypnotic stretches to moments of collective release.
A dedicated digger with a vast collection of obscure and under-the-radar records, he draws on rare finds, dubplates and his own edits and productions – often creating what he can’t find elsewhere.
Alongside running the imprint Lagunas, Inner Lakes is continuing to develop his studio and live performance practice, aided by an ever-growing array of synths.
